About Black Cloud

Mike has worked in construction since high school in 1988. That experience spans hands-on construction, estimating, customer communication, coordination, management, and troubleshooting. Black Cloud Wood & Steel was founded in 2023 to put that experience to work where clearer thinking and stronger follow-through can materially improve a project.
The Black Cloud name honors Mike’s grandfather, whose CB handle was “Black Cloud.” His work ethic, standards, and belief that a person’s word mattered remain part of the company’s foundation.
