In this economy it is nice to have reminders that not everything in the world is immediately thrown in the trash. Black Cloud Wood and Steel can help with that, All of our handmade wooden crafts are made almost entirely reclaimed wood. With our products around your home you can add both exquisite wooden decoration while at the same time having a reminder that objects in life can serve more than one purpose.

While all of our wood is locally sourced from fallen trees and tree services in our area, We can also find beautiful pieces of wood from discarded old furniture, demolition projects, and more. We constantly have a flow of scrap wood from our on and off farm work and it would mainly wind up in landfills or burned, all the while people run to the big box stores to buy poorly made items that cost the environment in big ways often including long trips with huge fuel use.
We reclaim everything from beautiful Red Cedar from old decks to solid oak and hardwood from collapsed barns from farms all over the area. Even regular Pine cutoffs that would typically wind up in the dumpster can be quality useful items for your home!
